Dear Mr. McKenzie:
The purpose of writing this letter to you sir, is to address the issue of use of glass bottles in storing the drinks that the company manufactures and also innovation opportunities that the company can utilize by manufacturing fruit drinks as well to accommodate all people in all the corners of the world. The company has adopted plastic bottle to store the drinks that they manufacture, with the notion of enabling easy portability. Am not against the plastic bottles when I state this, but I would like to suggest that it would be more appropriate if the company did away with the glass bottles that are widely throughout the world since the company is an international company.
This is because I did my graduate research in the University on this issue. According to the data that I collected from people of all kinds, the young, old, rich, poor, students, scholars, employers as well as employees, it is evident that 94% prefers the plastic bottles. The glass bottles are non-degradable and fragile unlike the plastic bottles that can always be re- used without necessarily offering much intensive care. The company could also increase its profitability by use of fruits to prepare ready drinks. This will attract people who suffer from ulcers since they are not allowed to take soda drinks by medical physicians. This makes them prefer fruit drinks, which they purchase from other companies since they are not available in Coca Cola Company to take care of their health.
I am a Student in the United States currently pursuing my Master Degree in the University. I would in like to work in the field of business in the future. This is the reason why I was motivated to write to you concerning the above issues that could have an impact to the company. I have a passion for business and I am optimistic in the field no matter the competition that is always there. Any opportunity that arises in the field moves me to think critically of the chance that it gives to me to exercise my skills that I have so far gained in my studies.
I admire the diversification in the company in the manufacture of the products it offers. Coca Cola Company has many products like the wide variety of the soda drinks and mineral water. This wide variety of products increases the profitability of the company. I also admire the wide scope of its markets. The company has established its markets all over the world with various processing plants in all the corners of the world. These sub-branches make it convenient for the consumers to access easily the products. The management in the company is effective and cooperative. Due to this good leadership from the management, the employees feel contented with the job as well as the company thus, retaining the qualified staff that has kept the company going.
I would like to request for any internship as well as attachment opportunities in the company if they arise at any time. I would like to exercise my skills and knowledge that I have acquired in my studies as well as acquire other skills from the company. This is because it has been rated as one of the most effective companies in the world.
I will appreciate if you consider my suggestion and request regarding your company and my plea. You can always reach me using my phone number 423-672-2967 and my e-mail address Murray.email@example.com. I wish you and the company all the best.
Thank you for your time reading my letter.

Italian-American New York
My role as an Italian son and a father to an Italian daughter dictates most of the decisions in my life. I was born in America, but brought up with an Italian lifestyle. I loved the Italian lifestyle because of the close family and the love that stirs relationships in my family. The annual celebrations, religion, Italian foods, and my role as a father are some of the reasons why I love the Italian lifestyle. I believe that our extended family and my nuclear family are blessed by our Almighty Father.
I always insist on driving to our catholic church every Sunday morning together with my family. This owes to the reality that I enjoy driving through the beautiful scenery of Mulberry Street. This joy is always enhanced by the presence of my beautiful wife (Mary) and daughter (Charity). This street always reminds me of my responsibility to oversee the annual Feast of San Gennaro. It has never been an easy task because the celebration always takes eleven days. In fact, Charity has always loved the cultural history that accompanies this annual celebration.
My daughter was soon going to join college. I looked at her, and felt proud of her academic achievement. She really resembled her mother, had her mother’s character, and worked hard. I knew she was going to excel in her life because it has always been our family history to work hard. Nonetheless, I had to play my role as a tough and loving father by constantly reminding her that she has to fight for a respectable position in a man eat man society. Above all, I always reminded her that divorce is unacceptable by quoting the bible and using our family history as an example.
1. What aspects of the curriculum are intended for training, and what aspects are intended for educational contexts?
Training and education are used interchangeably in many societies. However, the two terms significantly differ in their meaning and purpose. Training refers to the process of equipping learners with specific skills, knowledge, and values suitable for real life situation. On the other hand, education is the process of equipping learners with specific knowledge, skills or values for the overall development of the learner. Consequently, in learning the curriculum is designed basing on essential principles and concepts in the discipline.
2. At what level, if at all, does the curriculum express its purposes?
The purpose of a curriculum designed for training purposes express itself when the learner is able to carry out the functions that curriculum intended effectively. On the other hand, the curriculum expresses its educational purposes if an individual meets personal development, social and economic productivity.
3. What educational goals and educational aims are emphasized, and what are their relative priorities?
Educational goals can be classified into two: first, societal which intends to: increase competitive advantage, improving equality of opportunity, minimize unemployment, minimize crime, environmental consciousness, and foster global peace. Second, Administrative goals, aim at reducing operational cost while improving the quality of education. Education aim, on the other hand, describes possible life outcomes basing on conscious or unconscious value schema selected. Educational aims are realized after the learner undergoes a complete learning cycle. Pp. 73-76
4. What types of learning objectives are included and emphasized in the curriculum?
The curriculum emphasizes three learning domains: cognitive, psychomotor, and affective. The cognitive domain deal with the learners’ ability to recall knowledge, develop skills and abilities. The psychomotor domain emphasize on the manipulative skills of the learners. The affective domains address learner attitudes.
5. What are the primary ways in which the curriculum represents the subject matter to students?
Subject matter of a particular curriculum arises from certain approach or aspects relevant to the subject matter that differentiates curriculum from the other. For example, a history curriculum, which conceives historiography as the subject content, may emphasize learner interpretation of primary sources such as archival records, on the contrary, a curriculum that conceive the subject matter of history and biography may emphasize deeds and words of great men and women.
6. Does your curriculum have a view of multicultural education in its content? Would you consider it an assimilationist, multiethnic, or social reconstruct-toniest view?
The American education history has attempted to address diversity through a number for ways. For example, in 1879 a school in Carlisle, Pennsylvania attempted to assimilate Indian students by forcing them to adopt European way of life. The American school curriculum depicts the country’s diversity; as a result, multiethnic education is for all. Social reconstructionist aim at allowing students from all racial backgrounds to research on various issues including job opportunities, and decision making process in government.
7. How is it determined if students have met the standards? What are the consequences for students, teachers and schools, if it is determined that students have not met standards? Does it matter if you adhere to the standards?
Standards outline learning content. The aim of standards is to strike balance between process and content. Standards aim at enabling the learner to understand the functioning of the discipline. Standards aim at enabling students to apply subject content outside classroom situation.
8. Is the curriculum aligned with the standards? Does the curriculum facilitate student understanding of the content and processes espoused by the standards? Are portrayals of the nature/ structure of the discipline congruent between the curriculum and standards? Are the balances of depth and breadth of the curriculum and the standards congruent? Are the standards cited for each topic/ activity?
Standards are processes, or skills that learners are expected to learn. The curriculum is aligned with content in order to realize set standards. Current content material varies from the traditional curriculum since they are more descriptive and highlight the skills and processes associated with a specific discipline.
9. How does technology affect the content of the curriculum?
Technology enables easy dissemination of knowledge by providing new as through which educational content can be organized or approached. Production of textbook and the use of blackboards has been a significant technology in education since it as greatly influenced how educational materials are disseminated.

Analysis of Student’s Posts
Post one: Pedro Naranjo
In the first post by Pedro Naranjo, it is exciting to note how hidden agenda is shadowed by an open case of interest. According to this post, Naranjo states that Spaniards had inner motivation, other than the open spiritual war that they gauged against Indians. Spaniards were not really fighting for religions righteousness, but wanted the Indians as their slaves, who would do whatever they wished. The war against Indians by the Spaniards was agitated by self-greed but remained hidden under greed and self-interest. In addition, the massacre of Spaniard priests and soldiers further fuelled violence and mistrust between these two social quarters.
Post two: the evil Woman, Bridget
The second post relates to a woman who is extremely evil. Evil doers were prosecuted and subsequently subjected to a death penalty. The woman named Bridget had gone contrary to the social expectations since she engaged in evil, something that contravened social standing in the society. The contradictions generated in this scenario accounts to the highest social hypocrisy, since evil doing had reservation of races or personality. In addition, English law being firmly rooted in religion and service to God outlined People’s morality and expected behavioral norms. Social vices like drunkenness was equally against the law and its commission sanctioned heavy punishments. Cases of morality were most common among Indians compared to their European Counterparts.
Post Three: European Greed, Richard’s Letter
Greed and dissatisfaction started at the time that America was under discovery. During this period, the Europeans had developed a sense of greed and extended it to amass wealth in another country, presumably the country of social destiny. The result effect of greed is adverse and regrettable to the face of human beings. Misery and disappointment marred these immigrants as a result of their ill-motivated exodus into the America; this aspect is revealed through Richard’s letter to his parents back in Europe.

MY MOTHER MY INSPIRATION 2
Running head: MY MOTHER MAKES THE DIFFERENCE IN MY LIFE 1
My educational plan consists of structured objectives that I wish to use as a preparatory path towards achieving adequate professional competence to excel in a future career. My plan for the future is to join my family’s business, which concerns commercial operations in the real estate industry, and contribute valuably to its growth and prosperity. I am aware of the strong demand for the right variety and level of technical and academic skills and experience that this career objective elicits, given the stiff competition and the little allowance for managerial error in this industry. My determination is to attain the sufficient and correct range of competences that are necessary for excellence in the real estate industry, by choosing and pursuing the academic path that corresponds with this demand.
With this in mind, I have chosen to study Business Management at the University level, hoping to extend and enhance my specialization in the field by embarking on a Master’s level of education in the academic area after attaining the Bachelor’s qualification. Business Management represents a suitable choice for my objectives as it offers the student a thorough grounding in concepts, skills, and theories with critical value in the administration of organizations, such as those in the real estate industry. Such competences include a broad variety of skills in accounting, statistics, marketing, economics, decision-making strategies, finance, and human resource models. This path of education shall avail active learning approaches to influence my development of practical skills and insights for decision-making prowess in today’s complicated business world. It shall hone my skills in people management, negotiation, and human resource management, which are the three aspects that I consider critical in real estate management. Thus, I am certain of the appropriateness of this educational path as a fitting and a productive preparatory course for my prosperity in the future career.
The Most Important Attribute to Succeed in Life
The term success refers to the achievement of ambition, a goal, or a purpose. Each individual sets a goal at some point in life. For instance, each New Year, individuals make resolutions they aim to achieve within a year. They aim to improve their spiritual, emotional, financial, academic, or social lives. Success is the ability to achieve the desired results in these fields. The greatest attribute that enhances success is faith. This paper addresses the various reasons why faith is fundamental to success in life.
First, without faith, there is no life. Faith is the unsubstantiated belief in something or someone. It is the foundation of the entire risks human beings take. Every person alive believes in something. For instance, getting out of the house in the morning is an act of faith. This is because thousands of individuals die in accidents each day but we still drive the same cars in the same roads, believing in a reunion with our families in the evening. Thus, this belief makes life worth living and risks worth taking, irrespective of the differences in what individuals believe in.
Next, faith sets the limits of one’s success. This is because it determines one’s abilities by shaping his or her self-esteem. Confidence is a key factor in achieving success. Faith enhances self-awareness, self-confidence, and self-actualization. These attributes enable one to strive towards achieving his or her goals. Faith in the set goal also enhances one’s success probability.
Furthermore, faith fosters the hope for a brighter future. Hope helps individuals overcome today’s challenges and strive towards a better tomorrow. Taking this step ensures one achieves success since hopelessness induces failure; it motivates one to greater heights irrespective of the obstacles in his or her path.
Faith is the strong belief in something that you have not seen yet. For instance, if you hope to master a sport within a year, the belief that you will achieve this goal is an act of faith. Faith enhances success because it determines the risks that we take. For instance, one goes to school because you hope to excel and have a bright future. This is the first step towards achieving success because it influences attitude towards schooling.
Moreover, faith helps one understand how far he or she can go. One can only go as far as his/her mind is able to visualize. The belief that one can lose 10Kg of body weight within the year will encourage one to exercise and adopt healthy eating habits. Faith enhances self-esteem and belief in the goal set. This self-confidence is a strong success attribute in whichever field of life.
Lastly, faith forms the foundation of a hopeful life. Hope helps one strive towards success continuously. Thus, although there are challenges in the way to success, they do not discourage. For instances, taking a dancing class may be challenging if one is not a natural athlete. However, with persistence, one can finally master the art of dancing. Thus, faith encourages one to be optimistic at all times, which leads to success.
In conclusion, life is all about faith. This is because all natural acts are acts of faith in themselves. Faith is a fundamental aspect of success because it enhances hope and self-confidence, eliminates fear, and sets the limits to one’s abilities.

Toni Cade Bambara writes his story in first persona style. It is about a young girl from a very poor neighborhood in the New York whose name was Silvia. She goes to the FAO Schwartz toy store along with her friends. At the store, she sees extremely high toy prices. Miss Moore, the black college graduate woman that takes them to the store, had invited the youngsters to question the system that priced the toys at a price that was enough to feed a family of six or seven. She uses the Socratic method of teaching to give confidence to the children on how to make their own conclusions regarding different experiences. The parents to the children are working class and sanction Silvia to coach their children the best way possible. Silvia’s cousin, Sugar, is her best friend since they grew up together. Together, they discover the uneven distribution of material goods in the U.S
The story examines the cultural polarization between rich and poor and confronts the social mind-sets regarding education to the lower class people. The children were aware of their economic status when they saw a toy-boat worth $1000 in the store. Sugar, one of the youngsters, is tempted to steal one toy from the window of the store, but Miss Moore could not allow that. From this story, it is imminent that poverty teaches children the value of potato chips and ice cream soda, and that satisfaction comes with cleanliness. That was Miss Moore’s viewpoint. To her, a child from a poor background, in clean clothes, kicking cans around, looks better than a child from a rich family, wearing clean clothes but playing around with an expensive toy.
What Does Sustainability Mean to Me
The humankind is facing an extraordinary challenge that calls for decisions never contemplated. Life on earth has evolved into a beautiful and complex phenomenon, which is challenging and needs stability. The rate and scale of human impact on the global economy and immediate environment is caused by the rapid expansion of human activity spreading across the environment we live in, some of which influences our personal lives and need to be managed sustainably. This can be achieved through making decisions that can help sustain our immediate surroundings and environment, or manage our physical and emotional lifestyles as humans. Sustainability is composed of a wider perspective though can be defined as a relationship between the dynamic human economic systems and the grater ecological system composed of human life, culture in which human life can continue indefinitely (Norton, 2003) .
Sustainability to me includes innovation, cooperation and investment directed for future (Herrmann & Hesselbach, 2011). Innovation will help to generate ideas that assist in implementing a concept to present an opportunity, cooperation is key to ensure that efforts are well directed towards the idea in order to propel it to maturity in the unforeseen future that can be beneficial to the generations, on the other hand not including values or things that are not of fundamental importance, measurable, achievable to addressing an issue.
On the other hand, one can definitely know whether it is sustainability by looking at certain indicators (Bell & Morse, 2003) which will assist in measuring a given model to ascertain it’s sustainability.
Despite an idea being sustainable, some human behavior can also determine whether it will be sustainable or not, and the possibility of better improving other people’s lives.
The education that an individual receives will also decide whether someone is willing to manage his or her own life in a sustainable way by including some contributory elements to make a concept sustainable (Huckle & Sterling, 1996), and make it achieve the intended objectives.
A behavior that is positive towards sustainability will most likely impact positively by institutionalizing sustainability on people’s lives (Cameron, 2013), to instill such attitude. For example, I may use my education on environmental aspects to educate the community on the benefits of a safer environment, and as such positively impacting on the community, by ensuring that everyone lives a comfortable life.
Sustainability is a simple but powerful theory that recognizes environment as a foundation for survival and comfort. Sustainability is achieved through creating and maintaining a condition in which human can coexist with nature to be productive either in the social or economic dimensions. For instance in social practices, municipalities in New Jersey came with a program to enable the population achieve a sustainable quality of life among residents of the community, which residences readily subscribed to and kept growing because of associated benefits attributed from the program, hence one could easily know that it is sustainable.
To this end, sustainability can be interpreted in different dimensions, however to a community with an environmental concern, indicators can help ascertain the sustainability of a project for a better future, hence be very measurable according to the benefits accompanying an idea. It is easier to know if something is sustainable by looking at its output and how humans relate to that particular idea.

WHAT DOES SUSTAINABILITY MEAN TO ME 3
A number of people have not understood the importance of a hybrid car in the contemporary world. Although hybrids have been around for approximately a decade, most drivers still hung around old cars. Reports show that the sale of hybrid cars is on the rise but not as expected based on the benefits that accompany this type of cars. For ages, people have been going for diesel cars with the argument that it is cost effective. Change is the only permanent thing and people should get ready to move with the moving world. Everybody should desire to have a taste of this elegant machine because the cars are no longer being tried. A relatively large population of persons has used the services of this car and the quality is not in doubt. The car is mostly used in Europe, and US and the sales are increasing every year.
There is no way hybrid cars can be compared to the locomotives because the latter will be extremely disadvantaged. This is because locomotives can hardly function in adverse weather conditions. Most people who purchase hybrid cars have confirmed that the car can easily maintain a high performance in winter because the engines are highly powerful. Some people have failed to see this as a possibility but thousands of motorists have clearly confirmed this as a fact. Everybody would want a car that will serve his or her needs throughout the year regardless of the weather. The only solution for this problem is a hybrid car and those who do not agree with this can only be advised to try.
It is true that Europe and most other world economies have been affected by the economic crisis that maimed most people. This is currently not the case because many of these countries are on the recovery path. This should not be used as an excuse for people to continue using traditional cars like the locomotives. The countries in Europe are working hard to get out of this situation as a country and also to cushion the citizens of the same. The benefits of a hybrid car are more than a bad economic status because the car has a guarantee of safety for the driver, and the family in case a motorist decides to use it for family matters.
Traffic clogging is a problem that cannot be diminished by locomotives and the truth is that hybrids cannot do it either. The only immense benefit people will be assured of is the fact that the hybrid car is assembled in a way that reduces cases of pollution to almost nil. This is a problem that the government and other nongovernmental organizations want to tackle. Locomotives can only make the matter worse because they have caused this problem altogether.
The fact that a hybrid car can utilize more than one type of fuel is good news to most motorists. The ability of the car to use both electricity and gasoline is a benefit that cannot be ignored. People should wait until all the locomotives are edged out to change to hybrid car systems. Some jurisdictions are considering replacing the locomotive cars to the hybrid cars to minimize on the pollution cases in the society.
The global oil decline has led the American government to pledge over ten billion US Dollars to assist in establishing the EV and hybrid cars to help in climate change. The locomotives cannot match these new developments with the hybrid cars apart from the hybrid being one of the best cars in terms of speed. The gas engine is further being modeled so that it can save more fuel and this aims at removing the doubt to those who claim that hybrids are fuel guzzlers.
Ultimately, the benefits of hybrids are more than what locomotive lovers can claim because the batteries of hybrids have a feature that locomotives cannot match. This batteries can charge while the car is moving and this assures the motorist of security in case of a long journey. This gives motorists more reasons to change from locomotives to hybrid cars.
